Neurotoxins are cosmetics enhancements injections used for anti-aging. Neurotoxins, such as Botox, Dysport and Xeomin have a long history of use. Botox has been used for more than 20 years to treat medical conditions.

Neurotoxins can decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while preventing them from worsening. Neurotoxins work beneath the surface, temporarily reducing the underlying muscle activity which cause moderate to severe lines from repetitive facial expressions.

Neurotoxins can be used to relax forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, bunny lines, neck bands, dimpled chin, masseter muscles. Neurotoxins can also raise eyebrows, upper lips, and the corners of mouths. Neurotoxins can also be used to prevent hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

You start to see results 5-7 days after injections, peak results are 2-3 weeks post injections. We recommend if you are getting neurotoxins before an event to book at least 3 weeks prior to your event. Results last around 12 weeks, depending on your body responds to it.

At Fountain of Youth Med Spa, we do ask that you book a follow up 2 weeks after initial appointment to make sure you are happy with your results.
